so cell phone don't cause colony collapse disorder? Damn, was looking for an excuse to get rid of my bloody cell phone and the $80 monthly bill! Would be great to have links to your stories so viewers could drill deeper. Jess is great and love the show.

in 2003, there was a taxcut of $100,000 if youre company owned an H2, in the same time period, there was a tax cut of pnly $4,000 if your company owned a electric vehicle. (which arent new. they used to be out between the 1890s and 1920s, then died out and came back in the 1980s in an austrailian race, then gm started manufacturing them in 1996 shortly followed by ford, honda, toyota and chevy.)

About This Video

In this episode Jess focuses on Colony Collapse Disorder in bee populations, tax breaks for Plug-In Hybrids, and planting trees in Niger with Tree Nation.

Correction: Since the production of this episode more information has been discovered concerning the cause of colony collapse disorder. A paper authored Penn State University, Columbia University, the US Department of Agriculture suggests a rare virus originating in Israel is most likely responsible for the dramatic and sudden disappearance of honey bees, and while these findings aren’t yet conclusive they do suggest earlier hypotheses may be wrong.
