I have been wondering about the candidates' green views...

Two things. First, I can't totally defend Obama, but I do support him refusing to sign the Kyoto protocol, b/c part of it requires that the US take most of the blame for global warming, and completely exempts China and India from doing anything. Both countries produce almost as much greenhouse gas as the US. The other thing is another 3 wheeler car. The Aptera can get up to 300 mpg. Aptera.com. check it out.

Zaproot's a bit behind this week -- desmogblog retracted that Obama "award" a few weeks ago, and sent Obama a public apology!

I agree with Dayna-- Kucinich! I have funny feelings about Hillary and Obama. Edwards says good things but I think he's just moving around to get votes. Kucinich keeps trumpeting a comprehensive green plan that seems to make all kinds of sense. Kucinich (and I) believe that we need to re-form our economy around the premise that green development is good for the planet and all of its inhabitants.

I think Dayna might be right with Kucinich but in second I think Edwards and his "green-collar jobs" is pretty good. The point has already been discussed with Obama and that leaves Hillary. I like her as my state senator, she can really work to get important bills passed, but she is known to compromise on issues instead of standing up for what she believes in all the time. But if she really does have the backbone to stick up for greening America she will be able to do it.

My dear lady try clenching your fists so that the darkness within you does not let you agree with Obama. He is the biggest disappointment. Global warming is still not cool... But its cold over here... where is it when you need it??
