Patio umbrella, hmm. we have one, it is very faint, you can't use it to read a book by, but it is nice ambient lighting. Has a cold blue hue to it.

I like how the Russians still believe in magic. I blogged a little bit ago about how the Alameda Computer Resource Center recycles eWaste. And they take cell phones for free. A lot people don't know what to do with their obsolete cell phones, so many of them end up in less than ideal spots.

There are lots of Smarts and Priuses here; I think Th!nk is going to be a huge success here. When I lived in Germany, they were into the Smart like eight years ago. It's about time we catch up.
